I've recently heard that Paul Harris (THE P.H.) has recently passed away, but I don't remember seeing anything on any forum or on Magic-NZ. Could anybody confirm the rumor or, paraphrasing Mark Twain, inform us that "the rumors of his death been greatly exaggerated?"
Many thanks - apologies if there are other discussions on this matter already going on.

Re: Paul Harris?
Sorry, can't even confirm that there is such a rumor.
It is possible that his reputation did suffer a bit through the "little man" product.
Perhaps that, the wooden boxes with his initials and portrait and some sentiments about his lack of recent direct participation in our community left some wags to collapse the matter into a dismissive myth?
His sister Janet posts on greenland (the magic cafe) if you'd like to ask directly.
It would be quite a surprise for what you posted as a rumor to go unnoticed.

I can't even get into the "Paul is dead" thing.
I've just left a message on his cell phone and will post a response as soon as it comes.

Re: Paul Harris?
I am happy to put this ridiculous rumor to rest. I just had an email from Tim Trono who said that Paul is working with him in California right now.

That's good! I was surprised to hear this news from a well-known American magician but not having heard anything elsewhere.
Many thanks, Richard!

I just spoke with Paul and he said, "I will try and give you advance warning next time I die."

What is the issue with the Little Man effect? The demo looked sort of cool as I recall.

Doesn't Paul Harris walk barefoot EVERYWHERE?
