FAST TRACK TO FAME ON SPEED CHANNEL

Postby JustinRivera » April 20th, 2010, 3:57 am

Anybody see the magicians on there? I was on it last week on the Phoenix episode. An illusionist named Kevin Hartley did a sub trunk. A bald white magician did bubble magic. I don't know his name. Murray's episode is coming up on Monday May 3rd I believe at 5 & 9 PM PST. Anybody see and know the name of the magician who did bubble magic or see my act? Any thoughts, opinions, feeback, etc.? I love hearing criticism. I take it very well. Thanks.

Big Daddy Cool & The Swing Kittens were supposed to appear on the third show performing his dancing cane routine, but was bumped when another magician exposed the cane on the first show. Gee, sure hope that wasn't you Justin...

nope, that wasn't me. that was salsa magic. i did my cd manip act. how did they get bumped by exposing the cane? to my knowledge the producers pre-screen all the acts so there's no duplicate material.

All I can tell you is that we were booked for Bristol. A week out they contacted me and said that since Salsa did the same trick they didn't need us. We would have won too.

Oh yeah. I remember that! I actually worked up a way to make those boas appear on the girls as they turn away from me.

I don't remember Duane ever talking to me about cruise ships. He mentioned something about some opportunities, but that was about the end of it.

I've focused on theaters and dinner theaters for the last 10 years, so cruise work has not really been on my radar. Everyone who sees my show though thinks it would be perfect on a ship, but I've never really pursued it.
