MUSIC CITY MAGIC TO PRESENT FINAL PERFORMANCE

Nashville On Halloween Night, Oct. 31st, the mystery men of Music City Magic present their final performance at the Halloween Houdini Tribute at Opry Mills Mall. Showtime is 6PM.

Music City magic has been the leading magic performance organization in Nashville since their formation in 2003. Founded by award-winning professional magical entertainers John B. Pyka, Nelson Griswold, Jason Michaels, and Scott Cantrell, Music City Magic has served as a performance showcase and laboratory for the group to develop material while promoting each other and the art of magic in Nashville. Recent additions to the cast have included Lonny Divine & Miss Direction, Rick Green, Jerry Fraley, Lance Johnson, Devon Owens and even Side Show Benny. The group has presented their cabaret styled magic and variety revue to sizable audiences in several venues in Nashville including Miss Marples Dinner Theater, The Radio Caf, and most often Opry Mills Mall. However, despite the groups success their final performance will be on Oct 31 at Opry Mills Mall.

Music City Magic began as just an idea to bring unique, cutting edge performers together says founder John B. Pyka. Each performer has grown and advanced in their career to the point that keeping the group together has become impossible. Thats a good thing because that means we are all moving on to bigger better things!

The final show will be the Annual Halloween Houdini Tribute. Each performer will perform an illusion or escape made famous or inspired by the great showman Harry Houdini. Also a part of the show will be the presentation of the 2009 New Magic Order Houdini Awards for which many of the cast had been nominated. Showtime is Oct 31st at 6Pm on the Entertainment Court Stage and is FREE! Opry Mills also hosts a costume contest prior to the performance. For more information visit www.oprymills.com.

The disclaimer is there for people like Brad Henderson who don't think news like this is worthy to be posted on a worldwide forum. So by telling them upfront, maybe they won't get their panties in a wad and give me heat over it.

I don't believe his prior comments on the award are at all related to this, so don't be defensive or insulting.

I'm just saying - I'm really trying not to be a bad guy. The disclaimer keeps it relevant for those who don't care, that's all.
