No one forced Jonathan/Claude to pull a weapon in rage and fire it, threatening and scaring his wife. That was his responsibility. If they were victims of a natural disaster or some other situation not of their making I'd be sympathetic, but Jonathan is responsble for his own actions. As "Dr. Phil" likes to say, "He owns this."

Char should be talking to an attorney and Jon should be talking to a therapist as well as a defense lawyer.

For what its worth to Charlotte (if she reads this), my son recently took several friends to the Magic Castle. Two of them are Marines who were deployed early this last week to Afghanistan (the night was a party for these guys). The Pendragons were the highlight of the night for these young men and they are taking that great memory with them.

I just listened to part II of Dodd's interview, and I look forward to part III. Wow, it's just hard to reconcile such a seemingly nice, thoughtful guy with this incident. Hope he can get it together.

Any word on what's going on? I can't seem to find much information online. Is he still in jail? Is there a court date? Can Charlotte drop charges or is it out of her hands, at this point?

Is it okay to ask these questions or should we try and forget it ever happened?

I'm very curious and he is a public figure (as both a performer and an alleged criminal), but I also want to remain respectful.

IMHO it's likely better to ask Charlotte offline and if folks can put focus on support for both to them maybe she'll be up for saying something here.

The only new information I have is that Jonathan has been released on bail.
