I think this is a different one that what you are thinking of Richard. It's not the one from the Live Reality Competition show "The Next Uri Gellar."

Sorry... Joe's correct... This is Kristen of Ridgeway & Johnson (LivingIllusions.com) She's done her "Visible Water Torture Escape" over 600 times and it was on the last Masters of Illusion.

I've seen Kristen perform the stunt in Las Veags. She went 3 1/2 minutes that day. It's a truly exciting performance and to dismiss it so cavalierly does it a great disservice.

Rich did what a lot of us did: confused (initially) the girl who was pulled out after about 20 seconds with Kristen who ran into trouble around the 3 1/2 minute mark.
Kristen Johnson is one hell of an escape artist and performer.
Anyway, the confusion disappears in a hurry when one reviews the two videos.

I just watched the video on CNN ... not to take away from the woman, who is doing something obviously dangerous, but it seems so much more impressive to see those photos of Houdini upside down in the Water Torture Cell with his ankles locked in place.

I agree, there. I'd much rather watch Marlo do a pass, for example, but I have to content myself with what there is, today.
