I just saw an ad for next week's episode of Two and a Half Men and it sure looked like John Carney doing card trick at the 40th birthday party of one of the characters (sorry, never seen the show so don't know their names!). Anyone know more about this? John?

Next week's episode is titled, "David Copperfield Slipped Me a Roofie." I don't watch it, but I know it stars Charlie Sheen. It's on CBS at 9pm Monday night.

Charlie is a member of the Magic Castle and has used the name in several of the scripts. One episode had him talking about taking a date to the Castle. Nice to see they are doing more magic again

yep....its me.

Don't expect brilliant acting or magic....its just a walk on part, but it was fun to do.

They wanted me to be a cheesy magician (quite a stretch for me)....and that's what they got! .... I'm basically doing mysto, without the makeup!

Two and a Half Men is one of the funniest sitcoms on TV right now. It ranks right behind How I Met Your Mother (With Neil Patrick Harris) and The Big Bang Theory. All of which are on the same night, the same channel all in a row. Which means a very good night of entertainment. (For those who are into that sort of thing)

What's even funnier is reading Chuck Lorre's Vanity cards. You can pause them as they appear at the end of the show or go to ChuckLorre.com

They're all there from all the different shows....Dharma and Greg, Will and Grace, Two and a half men and Big Bang Theory.

Happy reading.

Agreed! Some of those are so funny that I've laughed myself dizzy (and thank goodness for the DVR). I didn't know they were all online, so thanks for that tip!

Looks like what we saw on the preview was the total package. ::snap:: Was looking forward to some Mr Mysto w/o the makeup.

Wish they would have let him atleast do one effect. I think he was on the screen maybe a second.

Or as one of the characters put it: "I shaved for this?"

I look at it this way:

He made more $$$$ than I did last night!!! (or when it was taped)

Look at it this way: He has an acting credit for an appearance on a hit sitcom that can go on his resume.

Congratulations John!

(Even if your character lives in his van and had to slip Berta a roofie to get laid.)
