Postby diagonalpalmshift » December 12th, 2008, 5:13 pm

Hello Team,

The Conjuring Arts Research Center is having some deals on membership and the magazine, Gibeciere. The first six issues are available, together, at a discounted rate with free domestic shipping. Here is the e-mail:

HARK, MAGIC AFICIONADOS!
Here's a Merry Little Deal Just in Time for the Holidays.
Stuff your stockings with magic history: Get (or give) all the back issues of Gibecire for $199, US postage paid (a $322 value)!

For a limited time, Conjuring Arts is offering a complete collection of back issues of our flagship journal, Gibecire, for the low package price of $199, US postage paid. That means nearly 1,000 beautifully bound pages of engaging, groundbreaking, and intelligent writing on magic history by renowned contributors such as Ricky Jay, Volker Huber, Vanni Bossi and many others. Edited by Stephen Minch, Gibecire is the only journal of its kind in the world. Bought singly, these would cost $322. For this deal, priority domestic shipping is also on us (Additional $50 charge for shipping outside the US). The number of sets is limited, so get yours today. Gibecire also makes the perfect holiday gift for that insatiably curious friend or family member. Buy online or give us a call at 212-594-1033.

Also, we are extending our promotion for new subscriptions or renewals:

Free Rare Booklets - Offer Extended through Jan. 1!

A reminder to Join or Renew now and get two mint copies of rare booklets, Free!

Conjuring Arts has managed to obtain a small supply of two original publications, and this is your chance to add them to your library. "Run-Up Systems" and "How to Control Fair Dice" were printed decades ago and sold by gambling suppy house Hunt and Co. There was a small stash of mint copies in their warehouse and now they are at Conjuring Arts. If you join or renew your subscription (at all levels) by January 1 we will send these two items to you for free. We estimate that if you could find these rare pamphlets in this condition (mint) you would have to pay about $50.00 for the pair. Now you can have them for Free!! This offer applies to both new and current members (even if you're not up for renewal we will extend your membership for another year). Please take advantage of this offer now - it will not be extended again.

Hopefully this is an opportunity that some of you can take advantage of! The website is:

Best,

Ricky
