Jeff McBride, three time Guiness World Record holder, presents his unique, skill-driven combination of magic, sleight of hand, masks, and, martial arts in the Palace Station Showroom.

Magician Jeff McBride will open his new show, Jeff McBride Magic at the Edge in the Sound Trax Showroom at Palace Station beginning Thursday, August 21. McBride is joined in the show by dancer Melanie Kramer and fellow magician Jordan Wright.

Magic at the Edge, was a sell-out hit last summer in Atlantic City and has toured extensively over the past two years. This cutting edge show brings together McBrides many passions -- for martial arts, sleight of hand and Kabuki theater, into an edgy interactive mix which has won rave reviews and standing ovations around the globe.

Jeff McBride first came to Las Vegas as an opening act for Diana Ross at Caesars Palace over 20 years ago. His dynamic performances made him an instant favorite with Vegas audiences, and Steve Wynn selected him to be a regular opening act at Wynns then newly refurbished Golden Nugget. A few years later McBride became one of Vegas youngest headliners performing as the featured act in the Moulin Rouge show at the Las Vegas Hilton. Now, this incredible entertainer returns, bringing his full evening show to Las Vegas, featuring exotic mysteries which hes collected on his travels from Bali to Burning Man.

McBride moved to Las Vegas in 1997. I chose to live here because Las Vegas is the magic capital of the world. Vegas also has more light per square inch than anywhere else on the planet. Vegas also has the darkest shadows. I enjoy exploring this edge, between darkness and light. This is where the magician finds his home.

Jeff McBride's Wonderground is a magical evening Jeff McBride and the Mystery School faculty are the creators of the world's most progressive magic events. Working with Las Vegas artist communities they will host a fresh nightclub experience featuring the new faces in the world of magic, mystery and variety. Every month there will be new guest artists, close-up magic, and interactive installations.

Magic, Variety & Performance Art to be featured in new club experience at Sound Trax inside Palace Station

McBrides Wonderground is the latest creation from magical innovator Jeff McBride. The Wonderground is a magical club experience which will take place every Friday and Saturday evening from 10pm 2am, following McBrides Magic at the Edge show in the same space.

Visitors to McBrides Wonderground will enter a world of wonders. More than a nightclub, the Wonderground features interactive close-up magic, uncommon variety acts, and performance art. . The experience will include special performances by Jeff McBride and celebrity guest artists, and will change every evening. Installations and attractions include a psychic sideshow of modern mystics, celebrity interaction with the stars of the show, and plenty of dancing with magic DJ Leo Diaz.

The Wonderground is a techno-tribal revival, says McBride. Its a party with the intention to thrill and give both locals and visitors a story to tell their friends when they get home.. McBrides Wonderground encourages each guest to dive in and help create the overall magical club experience.

Entry will be a $10 cover at the door. Patrons showing up in magical costumes before 10:30 will get in at half price, and those who have attended McBrides Magic at the Edge earlier in the evening can get in without paying any additional cover fee by showing their ticket stub from the earlier show.
