New Lincoln Pennies and New Opportunities

Four new Abe Lincoln pennies are coming out next year.

Good for the ol' penny , but I wish they'd put more Kennedy .50 cent pieces into circulation. A great size for coin magic , but I did a trick with one recently for a kid who was 15 and had NEVER seen one before. I had to explain what it was (not that it was a coin, but that it was actually a real coin, issued by the Treasury Dept.) Getting harder to find .

Will be very interested to see the size and shape of the Lincoln commemorative silver dollar that they also announced for 2009.
