Geno Munari's Son Passed Away

Postby Harvey Rosenthal » August 12th, 2008, 5:42 am

[font:Georgia]Just heard from Allan Ackerman that Geno Munari e-mailed him on Saturday that his only son who was in the mid-30s, passed away on Friday. As you can well imagine, Geno is devastated.

Johnny Thompson recently lost his boy. This is devastating news to any family. I'm so sorry to hear of Geno's loss.

Geno's son was, I think, 36. I've not heard what the cause of death was.

Johnny's son was 40 or 41, and he died of brain cancer.

Our best wishes to both families.

I worked with Matthew at the Houdini's magic shop at the Venetian about 7-8 years ago. I also had known Matt since he was about 8 yers old. He was a very talented magician.

I was very saddened to have found out about this when I went into work at the shop on Friday.

Geno and family are certainly in My thoughts at this time.

A sad day indeed, one no parent should ever have to face. Deepest condolences both to the Thompson and to the Munari families.
