The Unseen Hands of John Gaughan
An excellent article profiling illusion maker John Gaughan appears in the New York Times Style Section under the title Magicians Ask: Whats Up His Sleeve?. That Mr. Gaughan, 68, is not easily found befits an artisan who has spent most of his life creating large-scale illusions for many of the worlds most famous magicians and illusionists: Siegfried & Roy, David Blaine, Criss Angel,David Copperfield, Doug Henning, Mark Wilson, Ricky Jay.

So people can't paste in all kinds of crap that would mess up the layout of the forum, among other things. For basic formatting needs, UBB code is available, as on most other forums.

Enjoyed the peek in Mr. Gaughan's magical cave... The sentence I found very unfortunate: "Stooges, or audience plants, are commonly used by magicians and stunt performers."

Re: The Unseen Hands of John Gaughan
Here's the entire paragraph:
Stooges, or audience plants, are commonly used by magicians and stunt performers. Thats kind of the assumption, Mr. Gaughan said. You know, I cant really say one way or the other because of I just shouldnt.
It's a deliberate statement by the interviewer that was meant to catch John offguard and elicit a positive response. John remained non-commital.
