Anybody have an estimate of Sagawa's Magic Library dollar value?

I just picked up a copy at Powell's Book Store in Portland, OR. Somebody dropped off a number of recent titles, voil. 2 Tommy Wonder, a couple of Loryane titles (one is autographed, the Berg Book, a Seabrook title.

I know I paid toooooo much for it  , but I've always wanted one to add to my skill level and library.

George,
I picked up the copy of Carneycopia there when I was in town recently. Powell's did a good job pricing stuff.

Carneycopia was $50.00 before the announcement of the recent reprint.

Richard

Was their ever a "Volume 2?" The title page sez "Volume 1." In addition, the book contained the special card sheet intact.

Thanks,

GO

How much did you pay for the Berg book? If you don't mind.

I didn't buy the Berg Book, but I believe it was +$30.00. (Oops!, I just went to the Web Site, it's $50.00!)

Powells has a web site and you might be able to find it there. Not everything in their inventory is on the site, but you can contact them directly. A few years ago they got a copy of Michael Canick's "Price Guide" which ruined it for us locals cause you could pick up real bargins every now and then -- like "Cards as Weapons" for $8.00! Now they go by it.

I think you can get there here:

Boy, it's heck getting old...

It's Sawa -- SAWA -- stupid me. Sorry for the confusion, no wonder I couldn't find it in ABE Books!
