Looking for Russell T. Barnhart?

Postby Brad Jeffers » February 23rd, 2002, 2:25 pm

I am researching the life and career of Mickey MacDougall, and would very much like to contact Mr. Barnhart, who was a close associate of MacDougall. Any help would be most appreciated. Also, I would like to know the status of his book "Dens of Iniquity - My Life Among Gamblers, Cheaters, and Thieves". An excerpt from this book appeared as an article in Genii ("The Kankakee Kid"), and the book itself, was to be published in 1999, by RGE publishing. As far as I can tell, it has yet to be published, although a listing for it still appears on the Barnes & Noble website. Mabey someone here knows more about this?

The book was never published, but I can't quite remember the circumstances.
Russell's phone number used to be: 212-666-5832. Perhaps it's still the same.

I just saw Mr. Barnhart today (Saturday) at Cafe Rustico (NYC) which has supplanted Reuben's as the weekly Saturday hangout. He seemed to have been enjoying a pleasant conversation with Ken Krenzel.

Best regards,
Rich Kameda
