January Issue of Genii Now Arriving in Mail Boxes!

Postby Richard Kaufman » December 12th, 2007, 2:30 pm

Amazingly, the second-class issue of Genii that we have sent to our office arrived today, so it's a good time to announce that it's been shipped and many of you should start to receive it shortly.

Let me know when you receive it and what you think.

Our cover story is on the Los Angeles Conference on Magic History; Eugene Burger brings a story on Franz Harary's latest Show; Guy Hollingworth starts his monthly column; Magicana with great tricks; Jamy Swiss reviews Tom Stone's many ebooks, and there's a free gift in the middle.

Haven't received mine yet but even if it were weeks late it's damn well worth the wait IMO! Thanks for a great publication!

Received in Seattle this afternoon. As a die-hard Tom Stone fan it was a true pleasure to read Jamy's review(s).

The freebie was cool, as well (not to mention a new (and very clever) item contributed by Satoshi Toyoda.

Thanks Richard!

I just received the December issue today in Vancouver, British Columbia. Apparently that "Neither rain nor snow..." motto doesn't apply to Canada Post.

I too live in Wichita.
I too got my January issue yesterday, Dec.12
I too think it's a great issue. (Went straight to the L.A. Conference story. Man, I wish I had been there. Excellent article!). Plan to get to the rest of the issue today.

I'm still in the dark ... you mean the February issue from last year? Or do you mean the January 2008 issue that's now being received?

It was a abd attempt at humor about the post office. Sorry to have made you struggle to help.

Janauary Genii with Johnny Gaughan and Miltiades on the cover arrived today in Alexandria.

Howsomever, the cover story starts on page 70, not 32.

January arrived in Indiana yesterday (12/17). Dustin, I just finished reading your great piece on the L.A. History Conference. You've made us all jealous that we weren't there, esp. your description of the Hooker Card Rise.

Thanks Steve (and to everyone who has a kind word about my piece). I tried to do my part, though my goal was not to make anyone jealous, but to try and conveyas much as possiblethe feeling of being there.

Genii arrived today at Barry's Magic. My copy is still in the shrink wrap until this evening. I was actually looking to purchase a program for the L.A. History Conference, and there it is advertised on the back cover! It's a little pricy...
