Happy Father's Day

Postby Dustin Stinett » June 15th, 2003, 12:26 am

Happy Father's Day to all you fathers out there. Kick back, ignore the "honey-do" list and do whatever your little heart desires. In other words, just do what you usually do on Sunday.

And remember, when your wife gives you that necktie, don't be disappointed. Be happy and remind her of where it is that a properly worn necktie points. :D

(I wish I could remember who said that...)

Dustin

(I miss you Dad)

My son got me my first bottle of Old Spice. My Wife got me this great 5 man tent. It is awsome, now I have a place to sleep, when I am in trouble with her. lol. They also made me a very cool Fathersday card on the computer. Then we went out to a wonderful Fathers day Brunch. ahhhh, I am loving being a Daddy right now. Who's da man, Daddy's da man.
Happy Fathers day to all the guys out there.

You obviously live on a different planet than I do. Do the women there look like ours? How did you get a rocketship? Was it expensive?

Best,

Geoff

What was that, Geoff? I couldn't quite hear you over the sound of that whip cracking behind you.

16-month old Emma actually picked out my Father's Day card from the rack in the card shop--so reported my wife.
Even at that age Emma is making her choices stridently known.
Of course, it helps that she recognized Mickey Mouse on the front of the card. :)

Must be a newlywed or something. He'll hear the whip soon enough....

Come on Geoff, when did that ever stop you?

Geoff, Dustin has been happily married for decades.
Geoff, I do not in the least resemble Mickey Mouse.
But Gallo does!

22+ consecutive years--all to the same woman! (I believe that's close to a record in here in Southern California.)

Geoff: I know the sound all too well. The whip, however, is put away a few select days of the year; this is one of them! WOO-HOO!!!!

It really is amazing. At two years old, my daughter Mia is clear on what she wants to wear, eat and do. My friends with boys say they are more like dogs, i.e., they'll wear anything you put on them and eat anything you put in front of them. Chicks are just a different breed. This year Mia made me a father's day card. You gotta love it....
