Anybody know of a magician with this (somewhat unlikely) name?
He played a mediocre magician (quite convincingly) in Season One, Episode 18 of Peter Gunn (only the best private eye TV show ever!).
Kelton Garwood?

Kelton Garwood, also going by the name Jonathan Harper, was born in Columbus, Ohio on May 21,1928. He went to Ohio State University, where he appeared in college plays and as an amateur magician. He became a student teacher and floor manager for a local TV station in Cleveland.
He acted in everything from "Hamlet" to pageants in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida and New York. He worked as a bus boy and house detective while studying acting at American Theatre Wing in New York. Later he took riding and fast drawing lessons so that he could work in Westerns.
He played the part of Christ in the Hollywood Pilgrimage Play. He appeared in a few films including Miracle of the Hills (1959), Story of Ruth (1960), The Sandpiper (1966), and his last, Return to Snowy River (1988). He began appearing on the series "Gunsmoke" as undertaker Percy Crump.
He also used the name Jonathan Harper, so he was billed by either name whenever he appeared. He was with the series from 1968 until 1972. He worked so infrequently that while on Gunsmoke he began working at the Van Nuys Post Office.
He was married in 1957 and had two sons.
He died on July 28, 1991 in Chatsworth, California.
In addition to the episode of Peter Gunn, he also had another role as a magician, in an episode of The Waltons.

Garwood also appeared in one of my favourite Twilight Zone episodes. Here is a brief clip from "Five Characters In Search Of An Exit" in which he plays The Tramp.
