I am astonished at the price. I am sure it is a good book though. I thought Johnny Thompson was pretty good.

Note that the book is TWO hardcover volumes and I'm sure they are quite large.

I ordered as soon as the email arrived. It's not due for a few months so hopefully I will have forgotten I ordered it, and it will be a surprise when it's delivered.

Johnny Thompson is the Guest of Honour at The Session convention, London, in January 2018.

In terms of the price--I agree--it is not inexpensive.

However, when one considers this is the life's work of one of the greatest magicians of all time (and one of the few remaining links to Vernon, Miller, etc.), I think it will be a bargain--especially when one compares it to the prices of some other current coins, cups, props, videos, books, etc.

I'm in!

Knowing the people responsible for putting the final product together, I think the book will be more than worth the price.
