Penn Jillette Street Juggling Act

Postby Joe Mckay » May 5th, 2016, 3:23 pm

I just heard Penn Jillette (on his podcast) say that he is planning to bring back his street act that he did when he was 19.

It involved a blindfold, three balls and three clubs - and Teller says it was the best thing he ever saw Penn do.

I remember reading once that Penn invented the catching the ping-pong ball on the nose. Also - back then I don't think Penn did his broken bottle juggling routine?

Anyway - I was curious if anybody ever saw Penn's original juggling act he did on the street in his early years? I am curious as to how Penn put his unique spin on a what sounds like a standard juggling act.

Probably not, if this ad from The Linking Ring in 1961 is any guide:
PING PONG BALANCE Effect: Performer tosses a ping pong ball into the air and catches and balances the ball on his nose, as a seal. Attention getter.
