Re: Inside Lubor Fiedler's Brain
Lubor made two of these videos before he died. They've been linked to before here. Fascinating stuff, eh?

Re: Inside Lubor Fiedler's Brain
Did Lubor have an underlying health condition that made him think he may be dying?
Just wondering if that is what prompted him to make these two videos?
I just love these videos. Some wonderful stuff on there. It has been awhile since I watched them. But I think my favourites are the invisible corner of the torn card that he still manages to grip in order to move the card.
Another is the pen he levitates over that strange looking optical illusion style board.
And I love that visible penetration through the glass table with those disc shaped objects as well.

Re: Inside Lubor Fiedler's Brain
Lubor had lung cancer, but did not tell anyone. He died at the beginning of August, and made these earlier that spring. It is likely he knew he was ill by then, as a photo taken at that time showed him to have lost quite a bit of weight.
He also made several comments to me that, in retrospect, have a deeper meaning.

Nice performance of the Fiedler floating card (from the Tenyo book).
