John Derris interviews Roy Walton in the October, 1999 issue of The Magic Circular.
And it is the August, 1998 issue of GENII that has the cover story on Roy Walton. This is Volume 61, No.4.
Dan Witkowski is on the cover of the April, 1988 issue of The Linking Ring. He has never been on the cover of GENII or MAGIC magazine.

You are looking at the wrong issue. Volume 61 issue 4. Roy Walton is on the cover, but not the way you would imagine it. Here you will find a complete table of contents of volume 61: https://www.lybrary.com/genii-volume-61-p-561738.html

Hi, Joe:
Thanks--I see what happened. In the dim light, I pulled the August 1988 issue instead of August 1998.
I appreciate Joe, Chris, and Mr. Corrie for pointing me in the right direction!
PS: As a small tidbit to prove I'm not completely crazy, Dan Witkowski actually does appear on the cover of Genii for August 1988

Thanks for the correction. I was sure you had grabbed a copy of the wrong magic magazine altogether!

No problem. And please, call me Edwin!
