Re: Return of a Controversial Blog
Latest update from Andy.
We seem to be creeping towards the finish line. But are not there just yet.

Re: Return of a Controversial Blog
Magicians should really get behind Andy. He is one of the real bright sparks in our field and it would be more than a real shame to see The Jerx disappear.
The subscription rate is something extremely affordable and, for those who do subscribe, there will be exclusive content.
I really think we're letting a gem slip through our collective fingers here.

Has he put up a definitive end date for full funding?

Re: Return of a Controversial Blog
No - but Andy warned he may get tied up in another project that takes up most of his time before the funding hits its goal.
So the sooner the better all round.
Maybe you could put a shout out in GENII Speaks?

Maybe he could buy an ad in Genii.

^^^ Yes, but I suspect that might conflict with the "underground" flavor of his project.

Re: Return of a Controversial Blog
Yeah - it may come to that.
At the moment Andy is insistent he wants to stick to the model of having a wide base of people supporting the site at a low monthly price.
But if things change I will be first in line to offer extra support.

Re: Return of a Controversial Blog
There is a review of Andy's book in the latest (December) issue of GENII.
Kainoa Harbottle gives it a rave review.
Well done, Andy!

I enjoyed reading Kainoa's review very much. It's fantastic to see an accurate write up of this groundbreaking book. It is yet another compelling reason why we should support Andy's blog. I'm behind him 100 percent.

Re: Return of a Controversial Blog
We are just 7% away from the target. So everything seems set for another year from Andy in 2017 - particularly with the rave review in the latest GENII starting to hit peoples doorsteps. I am actually glad for him that he has being able to take a well deserved break.
Also - he has compiled together his magic review newsletters from the past year as an ebook for those Jerx completists who didn't get a chance to read them.
My intention with this thread is not to keep posting a link to each of Andy's new posts. But whilst the blog is on an hiatus - I feel it is useful to keep people in the loop until Season Two kicks off.

Re: Return of a Controversial Blog
Now we are 5% of the way from the target.
My copy of GENII just landed in the UK - so hopefully the rave review of Andy's book will start to have an impact globally.
Thanks, Richard for reviewing the book. I am so pleased Andy's work got some mainstream attention.
