And while I'm at it, do NOT miss Dani DaOrtiz's column in May. It's an amazing effect in which two decks are shown, a card is chosen from one deck which is shuffled. A number is chosen. The card appears at tghat number, the VANISHES and reappears in the other differently colored deck.
Not self working, but what an effect!!
There's lots of tips about misdirection, effective planning and even a basic primer on the Hofzinser Cull.
As Dani likes to say, "Wow!"
The May issue is a killer!

Re: DaOrtiz in the May Genii
I was wondering if anyone else had noticed.
I find it amazing how Dani can often create a two-phase trick or a two-trick set in which the first sets up the second.
I also quite enjoyed Caleb's trick this month. May was indeed a strong issue.

Hello everyone!!!
Dani always proceed in that way. Beforehand prove the ideas with a lot of friends and layman and after publish these, as the classics done all over the past.
Completely agree with your opinions.
Best regards from Barcelona-Spain.
