A great interview with The Amazing Jonathan here.

The interviewer is Marc Maron. And his WTF podcast feature some of the best interviews I have ever heard.
I never knew that Amazing Jonathan was so sick. He is retiring from show business due to a heart condition which could kill him at any moment.
I wish him the best. And I recommend the interview above to get a feel for the crazy drug taking career he has had in comedy and magic.

You can also go to burnunit.tv, the home of Amazing Johnathan's online talk show, and watch him interview lots of other magicians and those of the allied arts. There are 46 episodes available and all have been terrific. AJ keeps adding more. The most recent I watched were of Piff the Magic Dragon and Tom Mullica. The big news in the Mullica interview is that he is retiring the Red Skelton act and plans to get back into the magic bar business.
