The July Issue of Genii is on Its Way to You!
The July issue of Genii, featuring Imam on the cover, is just in the mail.
The digital version will go live tomorrow.
In addition to a new column by Caleb Wiles, "Ringside," we have our usual assortment of goodness including a killer version of "Invisible Palm Aces" by Tom Stone.
Our secondary feature is on the magicienne/burlesque artist Dolly Kent of South America.
Lots of audio and video this month as well, so dig in!

Great issue! Max Maven's audio column "Speaking of Max" this month is the best!!! Max never disappoints, it's always the first thing I listen to on IGenii. The Imam article was very touching. Great job Richard.

Over 60 tricks. Probably 300 pages.
Half the material has not been published in English before.
The other half is material I have written and published in magazines going back to the early 1990s.

A very well crafted audio column this month! I laughed out loud several times, and I think this is the first time I've met the word "Coprophagia" in Genii, or in any magic related text (For those unfamiliar with the word; it isn't a Stewart James trick title).
Re: The July Issue of Genii is on Its Way to You!
Richard,
on the Ask Alexander Page, where the iGenii link to the Issue with IMAM on the cover is, it says August 2013 not July 2013. Just so you know and it gets corrected... but it takes you to the correct magazine anyway...

I can't tell you how moved I was by Andi Gladwin's write up of "Fingertip Aces" and the sweet tribute to his late, dear friend Jack Parker. The gesture is only made more touching by the fact that the trick was created by Jack Carpenter. The in the hands Zarrow technique to get set for the display was also created by Jack Carpenter.
Jack Carpenter wants everyone to know that he is currently creating some great material for Andi to attribute to Vernon.

Maybe you can fix the crediting on "Fingertip Aces" while you're at it.

Re: The July Issue of Genii is on Its Way to You!
Max Maven's audio column in the July iGenii is fabulous. If you haven't listened, I suggest you do so now, but not while you are drinking a beverage, otherwise it will shoot out of your nose as you laugh out loud.
My "Face to Face with Genii Magazine" interview of a man I have great respect for, Ton Onasaka, is up there as well.

Probably not, as the issue's already been printed. I'm sure there'll be a correction and/or an apology in the next issue, certainly.

Mayhew, stop sarcastic. I have no idea how the mistake occurred, but there'll be a correction. Simple mistake, end of story.

Re: The July Issue of Genii is on Its Way to You!
Arrived today in Auckland, New Zealand, ahead of Magic which is surprising as this normally arrives first. Looks like the new shipping arrangement is working well.

So, our new mailing company definitely seems to be doing a better job since it's only July 4 and folks outside the US are receiving their copies!
