Is that the one with the escape from a giant light bulb?

Yes, that is it. In a section called something like "Imagined Escapes", Steranko illustrates some escapes he had been dreaming about.
If you ask Steranko if he is still planning on publishing Iron Puzzles, he will say yes, and I think that is why you haven't got a refund. However, if you ask for a refund, he will comply.

I met him once, about 35 years ago, and he not only looked cool, he was cool!
Re: Double Anniversary Issue
I'd rather have the book, (at still just ten dollars!)
than a refund.
than a refund.
Re: Double Anniversary Issue
Finally made my way through this issue. A great read. Congratulations on your 75th.

Re: Double Anniversary Issue
Quentin is indulging in a bit of Irish mischief. I had carried with me to London two boxes of the new Nov/Dec issue in my suitcase, which had been overnighted to my office from the printer the day the issue was mailed. So, those who subscribed at that time received the issue at that moment.

Hi Richard, I have a question. I am still negotiating with my wife so I would like to know... When is the last day I can subscribe and still get the Anniversary issue? Thanks! (and wish me luck, she is tough to convince)

Re: Double Anniversary Issue
Well, technically it's already too late since I believe the January issue went in the mail today. However, in the spirit of the holidays we do make exceptions. :)

And, for what it's worth, sunny Scotland.
Just kidding, it's bloody freezing here at the moment.

Having spent time in the sticks, all I can say is it's your fault for living in the sticks.

It arrived here in the magic forest (Canada) December 11, 2012. It's an amazing issue. I love the retro graphics.
Ian: I check the weather in Edinburgh every day and it always says, "cold and raining." Being a weatherman there has to be the least challenging job in the world.

Re: Double Anniversary Issue
Sometimes it's 'cold and snowing' or 'cold and sleeting'. Today was just 'cold'. In May it will change to 'overcast' for a couple of weeks, before reverting.

Ian, you shouldn't have included your comment, "William Wallace was a ponce."

Didn't you see the statue? He was eleven feet tall (apparently).

Arrived in Malaysia today. Looks like some good reading for the holiday break. August and September must be swimming here. Haven't seen them yet.
