January 2011 issue

Postby Jim Martin » December 16th, 2010, 3:02 pm

The January 2011 issue arrived today in icy St. Louis, and it looks fantastic.

The monthly wealth of top-notch material and great columns (including three new columns by Anderson, De'vo and Gaughan) is remarkable, AND there is the Christian Schenk 'Parlour Monte', which is beautifully manufactured.

Like, ho ho ho, man.

I envy you all. I'm still waiting for my December issue, and I live only two hours away from Richard! (I know - it's the post office ....)

Received mine yesterday and wowHarry Anderson! Nice addition to the columnists (and the first installment is a terrific trick using a gaff we all have).

And the cards for the 3-Card Monte (made by Christian Schenk) absolutely free! That's something youll NEVER get in a digital edition of any magazine!

Thank you Richard: What a GREAT way to kick off the New Year!

Today in NYC. Happy to see David Jade's "Cartier" in Magicana. I never picked it up as a download but remember liking it, so it's nice to be able to learn it here. The Houdini material looks beautiful as well.

Mine arrived in the UK this morning, but without a free monte trick :( It looks like another great edition though and I have to say being able to read it online before it arrives is fantastic.

Received in Bury St. Edmunds, UK, yesterday WITH the monte cards. Quite good, as I'm having problems reading iGenii (but I suspect it may be due to my proxy/security/extensions...).

Now, I can have last year's magazines bound :D - will cost me more than the subscription, though! :(

Arrived for me in UK today with the Monte cards. Look forward to digging in, but Bulletproof arrived as well so I might be tied up for a while!
