Flash unit ?

Postby smokemist » March 24th, 2010, 3:33 am

Am looking for a flash unit to replace John's unmatched FISM flash unit.

It appeared to came down to "Beam Blaze" ( which apparently isn't made anymore)

or "Flash Burst", which I refuse to buy again: My first unit stopped triggering after 1 week. The replacement unit stopped triggering after 1 day! Shoddy to say the least.

Is there anything else new out there? Great time for an electrician / magi to step up and fill the gap & his wallet.

best..

You might want to check out the new Stevens catalog. They are introducing a new product called a thumb tip flash that is really state of the art.

Will this new thumbtip flash work on the iPad though?

mrgoat: Not sure what you mean? I do not have an ipad, but I assume you want to be able to use the thumb tip flash unit instead of your finger. You might want to contact Steven's magic.
