Virus Warning

Postby Pete McCabe » November 25th, 2003, 11:57 am

I recently received an email-based virus. I'm pretty sure it was one that goes into your email address list and chooses two names, sending the message to one and forging the return address from the other. It also attaches a random file from your hard disk.

The (forged, I assume) return address was Tommy Wonder, so anyone who has my and Tommy's addresses in their address book (and a file called Davidregal.doc on their hard disk) might want to run a virus check.
