David Regal new DVDs

Postby Guest » October 18th, 2003, 12:06 pm

I am very excited to tell you that the new Regal DVDs are on the L&L website. I am a big fan of his magic and I am really looking forward to seeing him perform some of the effects I learned from his writings. I just hope he will still have those insightful short clips in-between the tricks that were on the previous DVDs.

BTW they also published Ammar's Business Card Miracles (didn't see it coming) and the Guastaferro DVDs.

I hope you find this information of use.

I won't be buying these as I already have most of the material in written form. (via Regals books)

Having taken a look at the routines that will be included, I recommend that those buying the videos try out Regals version of Oil and Water (Perfectly Oiled). It's quite nice.

We've booked John Gustaferro in at Magic in the 'Burbs on November 6 (email me for more particulars), but I know nothing about him. What is his claim to fame?

Why would you book someone you know nothing about?
He's got two DVDs coming out through L&L in December--that will be his claim to fame.

He's a friend of the two other performers I've booked, and they recommended him highly. But I'm fascinated that he's now got a couple of DVDs coming out. I didn't know he was [/QB] that [/QB] good.

Having DVD's out says nothing about how good he (or anyone, for that matter) is. Just take a look at some of the stuff out there.

However, the fact that they are L&L DVD's and that David Regal highly recommended him does say a lot more. I'm gonna wait to see reviews, though -- I'm always cautious about buying something from someone I've never heard of before.

John Gustaferro appears on the video "Full Circle" performing and explaining a ring and rope routine.

Does anyone know if this will be the same L & L audience that is on virtually all their tapes/DVDs?

If so, I'll pass....

If that girl in the pink top is there, count me in...

There's not enough people in Tahoe to change the audience. Which girl was in the pink top? Tania? What happened to the Thai woman in the McBride video's (his lecture set)? Why can't L&L go to Tahoe City and get some of the adorable blond ski bunnies running around Squaw Valley?

The "Women of L&L" are just fine...it's the men that need to be changed.

I believe it's in Star Quality.
