September Issue of Genii Starting to Arrive Now

I've seen a few posts about it, so here's a note that the September issue is starting to make its way to subscribers. Jim Steinmeyer did our cover story, which ressurects Alan Wakeling's "The Magical Traveler" series from Genii in the early 1950s and updates it. Lots more, too.

September issue arrived Monday, Aug. 13 in Wichita, Kansas. I was amazed to have another issue so soon.

A brief skim told me it's another outstanding issue. I did notice the eighth line, wondered at its meaning, and counted the lines. Kind of a magazine version of an Easter Egg.

Strange thing. I ALWAYS get my Genii before any of the other mags. Been waiting anxiously for it to arrive. Today, Magic and MUM appeared, but no Genii.

I can't get the darn thing open! The magnatism of the guy in the cover just holds my attention. I try to sneak in the back, but my curiosity keeps pulling me to the front to bask in the splender of his countenance!
