Sad news, Di Sato passed away

Postby Bob Alan » April 21st, 2005, 6:13 pm

Very sad news,
I got a phone call today from my friend Gerrit Brengman(Deputy Secretary-General of the FISM)
to say that his best friend Di Sato(Harry Thierry), passed away this Wednesday, he was 67 year old.

Harry Thiery was 2 times winner of a FISM award.

The first one in 1964 in Barcelona, the first prize in Manipulation,
and the second time in 1967 in Baden-Baden, where he worked as "Di Sato"
and won the FISM Grand Prix/World Champion Of Magic; and Henk Vermeyden
the convention Chairman was not very happy, but that's another story.

Di Sato was one of the best, and one of the most original act of all the FISM Grand Prix.

He will be missed.
