Though we'll miss Mr Kaufman - The news keeps getting better and better - But it will be interesting to see who can use the most obscure words - But both of them have found a near match with Mr Townsend - He actually used "solipsism" in a wonderful chide earlier this week -

Thanks, Dustin. My hat's off to all you guys who are keeping this thing alive. A couple days off really bummed me out.

(I kept checking back on the dead Genii Forum to see whether it was just a bad dream. Yep, it was!)

Watch out! Dustin's iron pinky is poised over the delete button ... I can see it clearly on my videophone.

Just keep the engines revving?
Ye gads, Pete, the Indy trope is providing me with some stark "visuals." Who's going to man the crash cart? the ambulance? the body bags?
Dustin and I have our yellow flags ready.

Fasten your seat belts.
Drive carefully...

Onward...

Thanks Jon & Dustin!

I couldn't believe that the forum was closed, though I fully understand and appreciate Richard's rationale.

For you guys to come forward to ensure the forum's survival is a truly wonderful thing.

It's not often we get to use those iron pinkys in the real world. The two of you are fortunate.

Thanks guys

Cheers

Congratulations on your promotion. As second in command, perhaps the new guard could issue pardons to some of those that were previously removed from the forum and let the punishment stand as time already served.

Will the book of the moneht club be continued not that Dustin has new duties?
I'd hate to see it go. It caused me to buy 3 "new" magic books that I might have overlooked.

I hesitate to speak for Dustin, but...ahem... let me say this (sotto voce):

"Genii is a bit like the Cosa Nostra. When you're in...you're in. Once you start, you ain't getting out of nut'in!"

In fact, RK just gave me another offer I couldn't refuse.

Onward,
shoulder to the wheel,
nose to the grindstone,
pedal to the metal,
feet to the fire...

et cetera

Just when I thought that I was out they pull me back in! (Gotta love Pacino.)

Yes, the BoMC will continue. We have a very nice surprise coming in late December.

In the Godfather, when Luca Brazzi wouldn't turn traitor to the Corleones, Tony Giorgio killed him.

Beware inquires from Magic Magazine, Jon.
