Best Wishes to Jon Racherbaumer...

Postby Dustin Stinett » January 22nd, 2003, 12:01 am

...on this, the 23rd anniversary of his 40th birthday!

Happy Birthday Jon!
Dustin

May you live all the days of your life, and
May the saddest day of your future be no worse
Than the happiest day of your past!

How thoughtful of you, Dustin.
Thanks for remembering...

At the stroke of midnight, I shared a toast to the Great Perhaps and the speedy passage of time with Jim Cellini, Michael and Hannah Ammar, Eric Evans, Joe Harrison, and Gary and Fay Hughes.

Ammar is blowing through the Big Easy on his SAM Lecture Tour.
Cellini is here to finish a video shoot. He also lectured and conducted a workshop last week.
Eric is a street magician from Texas: a student of Cellini.

Onward...

I heard when you were in school that there was no history class.

I am joking. Happy Birthday Jon.

Happy birthday, Jon. Sounds like you had fun. By the way, I like Card finesse 2 and Card Fixes.

Happy "Silver Plate" anniversary of your 40th, Jon! (The suggested modern gift for the 23rd anniversary, according to The Chicago Public Library) Here's wishing you many more celebrations of the anniversary of your 40th.

Thanks again for the wishes from all.
I spent part of the day interviewing Cellini about his life and experiences with his teacher, the great Slydini.
Yes, yes...

Today, plus the wishes, made me realize what an odd, endlessly fascinating, and sometimes wonderful world magicdom is and can be.

I feel privileged to be a part.

Thanks, again.

David...
I assume you mean "silver pate," referring to Jon's mane...

Jon, I have a copy of your Universal Card booklet from 1972. I look through it frequently, and am glad that guys like you have thought enough to share your work with us. Many thanks...and wishes for many more happy birthdays.
