Slow, Slow, Slow

Postby Ted Leon » March 18th, 2004, 8:31 am

Is it just me or is the Genii board becoming slower and slower to respond. I'm on a cable connection and I'm still doing alot of toe tapping!

Richard mentioned in the Announcements forum that: "we are aware that the Forum is working VERY slowly the past few days and we're trying to fix things with our server."

Luckily, I recently found a solution to the AWFUL SLOW performance lately.

Sometime within the next week the forum should experience a dramatic "tune up" which will get everything working much faster.

Essentially, this forum involves a lot of actions that cause our server to go crazy.

So. If you've become annoyed at the slowness, don't worry, it will go away soon!

Thank you, Brad.

This is (IMHO) the best of the magic-related Internet boards, and it is running blitzschnell (German for "fast as hell") now.

I appreciate your hard work on this thing, Brad.
