Got the August issue in the mail today. Glad to see the Criss Angel article made it out before his Mindfreak special airs!

..now that these gentlemen have received their august issue, can we assume that the copies are on their way to the magic shops where those of us who patronize them can buy ours? i am still longing for the good old days.....well...a few months back...when i walked in magic inc in chicago on the 15th of the month and found it there...and even on the 11th..for a few months...before the rural mailboxes had to be filled.

...apparently all the cows have been milked and the eggs gathered from the henhouse, because i bought my copy at magic inc yesterday....7/21....and in just skimming through it i find it excellent, as usual.

Received in Sacramento California 7/20. Seemed to get it a little faster this month for some reason. not that I'm complaining! Very good issue overall. Magicana continues to be excellent and enjoyed the article on the Piddingtons a great deal.

Yah, likewise in central TN. Mine came in about a week ago actually. I havent had a chance to take a look though. I'm still enjoying the June and July issues, especially the Acer columns.

Nowadays, I think the magazine is easily worth $10 an issue, especially if you buy it at a magic shop. Subscribers, or course, get the big discount for paying a year in advance and glad to see so many southies subscribing.

Maybe we can get some southern exposure in the magazine now that it's catering more to the rural magicians. In fact, I am offering to write a new column for Genii. I have a great name for it too!!!

Only the 12th, but a month since the August issue rolled off on its journey, and the September issue is already there on the Genii main page !
