I strongly urge those of you that haven't already done so, to read all of the Jon Racherbaumer's 'Online Editor' pieces. Each piece is well written, informative, and stimulating. Read JR' editorials. You'll satisfy your mind and occasionally your soul.

Regarding the 'blast from the past' photograph in JR's recent editorial, the 'sun-tanned guy on the right', if I'm not mistaken, is the author of the forthcoming book "Son of Greater Magic".

The identity of the guy on the left, who looks paler than a blank-face playing card, is a complete mystery to me. Does anyone else know?

JR and PB...and, yes, the dice get smaller going away from the camera. They should be getting larger, if you think about it, because the camera would be closer to the top die. Or is it a reverse optical illusion because he was stacking progressively smaller dice? Or would THAT make the dice look the SAME size since each one going up would be closer to the camera?

Unless it was a joke, I would strongly advise anyone against using the title "Son of Greater Magic" for a book. The Jones family would not look too kindly upon it.
Pete ... is that you on the right?

Thanks for the kind words re Website Essay.

The Blast From the Past pic is, as Bill D. correctly answered, is MAGIC CHRISTIAN and PETE BIRO.

When I initially scrutinized the pic, I assumed that the dice were on the table, WAITING to be stacked. However, they were indeed stacked.

Onward...

Pre-Chavez finger palm? NO... pre-corrective hand surgery. I had tried to have two pre-Vernet finger tips attached pemanently but the operation was a failure. Instead De. Albo was able to surgically implant 27 magnets in varjous locations under my skin.

Keep 3 meters away from me if carrying credit cards! :D :D

As you can see by above typing the surgery failed... my fingers have forgotten where the keys are... :(
