Re: Credit Controversy
Since someone mentioned the "Bank of Denmark," I can't resist. I was on a road trip with Scott F. Guinn. After a meal that was full of problems, i.e. fried chicken that was still frozen in the middle, (I asked if I could get some that was cooked, so the waitress took the piece with a bite out of it and put it back in the fryer!) But I digress ... Great Scott! (Or The Great One, as I like to call him) wanted to write a check. The waitress asked to see a check guarantee or bank card. He handed her the "Bank of Denmark" card, and she actually wrote down the numbers on his check. She did have a small question about the date on the card (10/89 heh, heh), and he just told her that was the Danish calendar at work. She bought it! Welcome to Idaho... ;)
