They couldn't have been as bad as the cheap Rum River Crooks that Frank Thompson smoked. You had to air out the house for a week after he left!

Well, it depends on what you mean by "stinky." Most whole-leaf, hand-rolled cigars that have been kept properly stored give off a pleasant "tobacco shop" aroma while being smoked but, IMHO, do not "stink."Originally posted by Ian Kendall:

However, once a cigar has gone out the collected oils begin to turn rancid, so you should discard it in an outdoor receptacle if you don't want that unpleasant odor in the room.
