Re: The Jerx Year Two

Haven't tried it yet. But did you try blowing on the figure to get it to move? That is a key detail. Also - Andy's description mentions these surfaces: You have a plastic folder or a small mirror or something else you can draw on in front of you. So I wonder if using one of those surfaces might help...

I am definitely adding that one to my repertoire. Shame the method behin...

Re: Michael Weber's "Do Your Homework"

One of the biggest secrets in magic are the Karl Fulves Dover Publications that you can find in most bookshops. There is a ton of great material in those books. A lot of magician foolers as well. People complain it is hard to find Karl Fulves's various out of print magazines. But it is worth remembe...

That cardman was actually born in America. But we will class him as one of our own since he is so good. When I was younger - I used to love all these feuds in magic. I guess I found it fascinating that there would be so much argument in a field as seemingly genteel as magic. But these days I find i...

The best use for a Svengali deck is to do something like that. Spread the cards face-up to show they are all different. Have a card cut to (eg the 2C). Have the deck dealt into two piles. Force the pile with 26 identical cards. Have the selected card found in that pile any way you want (spin a bottl...
