Love these books as well, check out the following tricks which I like to do: No Holes Barred - a great impromptu moving hole routine. Emotional Bonding - A good plot for the fusion type effect. Double Vison - A dunbury delusion effect. Symmetry - Powerful impromptu version of Paul Harris's Twilight ...

Re: Latest on John Bannon's New Book
Jeffrey, Thats excellent news, I'm a HUGE John Bannon fan, and Impossibilia and Smoke and Mirrors are my two favourite books. I currently use quite a bit of the material including his new 'Last Man Standing' triumph routine, which I assume might be in the new book. As for a Genii feature I second th...

Re: Aronson website?
Hi Simon, Thanks for the heads up to the new address for your website, the updated content is excellent, especially the download of your lecture notes which I will print out and devour, as I am on the first rung of the memorised deck ladder! Regarding Side Swiped, is it fair to say that this is a ma...

If anyone is missing issues one through three, then there is a problem. All of those were shipped via first class mail last year. Some of the UK folks werent receiving theirs, so I have had to send them Global Priority. Yes me! Despite numerous e-mails to you Aaron and your promises to ship I still...

Re: Guy Hollingworth Deck
Scott, Guy's trick really is excellent, I've had so much fun with it! My favourite is Cinderella... (I'm a sucker for happy endings!) There was a discussion in the Guy Hollingworth Yahoo! Group about the cover, and someone has had a leather cover made at a bookbinders, which is something I may consi...

Hi Tom,
Is 'A Toast for Charon' similar to your column in Channel One Issue 3?
I really enjoyed reading your thoughts behind that effect, what if anything differs in your manuscript?

Re: Impromptu Ambitious Card Finale
Pete, This could be his 'Castle Card In Coin Purse' that appears on his new 'Roadkillers' video along with David Acer. I don't have the video but plan to pick it up soon especially now you have described that routine! Also UK magician Jon Allen has a card to box effect where the spectator can take t...

Sounds good Gavin, please consider sending it for publication.
I quite like Paul Wilson's shuffle sequence in the same Genii, as you say the reason I still use Harvey Bergs Intercept was to cover that 'flaw' in OOSOOM which has been eliminated in the improved version.
Rich.

Re: Collectors
Its got to be John Lovick's 'You Collect Her You Brought Her' from his Skinny Lecture notes, based on David Regals 'Clandestine Collectors' move, its brilliant, you cleanly put the aces into different places after three very fair selections, drop the aces on top and immediatley spread to show the se...

Re: Did anyone notice (Sakai/Fearson)?
Hi Axman, I saw the Frankie Detori interview, and can confirm to the best of my knowledge he used a mirror, I watched the tea-time showing and videoed the late night showing to view back, and if memory serves you didn't get to see into the box, and he jumped out of the box at the end, which is obvio...

Paul, I don't know if you are aware but a UK trade show magician called Paul Stone currently holds manufacturing rights to the Ken Brooke range, and is just in the process of re-releasing, not sure what exactly, but he is advertising his lecture over here at the minute, which includes a dem of the K...

Hi, Guy Hollingworth has quite a nice version of O&W on his London Collection video, Simon Lovell has a really good patter hook along with his version in Simon Says (won't tell you what it is, look it up!) and lastly have a look at Scott Guinn's The "X" On Val Dees routine over at Visi...

Re: Best torn and restored card effect
Can I recommend Craig Alan's Completley Torn (www.craigalan.com) whilst not a true piece by piece restoration, it is a full card restoration that happens in a spectators hand, can be done with any card and is a lot easier an...
