Re: Hank Lee

I neither see any indication that he's a recidivism risk

Maybe you missed the many voices who've claimed that for years on end he's billed people for out-of-stock, "back-ordered" items that would never come back into stock and would never ship.

RG was just bigger in magnitude.

To what extent is Max involved?

Or is Max's long-anticipated opus on the Gilbreath Principle a different book from Norman's book?

(Whatever the configuration of authors, this is exciting news.)

Wow, exciting stuff. Lots of pointers toward existing and future reading material!

"Bar Hopping in Japan" (Genii, Oct 2007, pp 62-95) is a huge article + Magicana combo that paints a cultural picture as well.

Tenkai was the Dai Vernon of Japan. That's the reason. To help us understand and appreciate that, will the book spend some significant time establishing and exploring the overall context of magic in Japan within which Tenkai emerged and developed, and then how he helped shape that landscape? When publishing, attaching author and title to referenced items is mandatory. But for a performance, attaching author and title to referenced items is giving the audience the exact search terms they need to look up the methods.
