Re: The Classic Card Trimmer Revised

Jim, I've been looking for a good Will and Finck, Mason and Co. or Graham cutter and rounder set for some time. As much as I'd like to have a set like that, I'd just as soon buy your new cutter, since I'll definitely want it to work with, and not just sit on a shelf somewhere. I'd pay for either an ...

Paul Wilson and I have about 20 DVDs left over from our lecture at this year's WMS in Las Vegas. The DVD is entirely on card moves and ideas with a gambling theme. Ken,

I have a copy, but haven't read it yet. I bought it at the GBC in Vegas the day it arrived (last Thursday).

So, it is available, and I paid $19.95 for it.

I'll post a review when I can.

Actually what Paul did was indeed Bob's Visual Poker Hand Change (aka Zapped).

However, Paul Wilson does have a great version of this where the cards are examinable immediately upon hitting the table or being handed to the spectator.

It's for sale (or will be soon) on his website.

Jon, I do own several decks that date to around the turn of the century and the ones that are in the best shape appear to be very close in terms of card magic properties to today's cards. Of course, the finish has improved a bit since then, but the "snap" of the cards hasn't changed much. ...
