Re: Mark Lewis Troll Forum

You know, something has occured to me. In that interview Mahdi expressed quite a lot of interest in my wonder mouse routine. It has just dawned on me that he could probably learn it very quickly because the hands don't really have much to do with any of it. He could easily do it on his forearm I ima...

Re: The Beginning of the Sentence

There is no such thing as the "greatest effect in magic". Either a trick suits you or it doesn't. The greatest trick for you may be a dud for me and vice versa. Tricks don't matter. They never have. It is what you do with them that is important.

Oh, I remember this guy! I think I saw him on a video with Mahdi Gilbert! I remember thinking he was only about 14 years old! It seems he is much older. This is what happens when you use untrained assistants that have not been with you for years. I suppose sometimes you have to do this for logistica...

Oh, he is from the Holy Province of Ulster! I have had death threats there too just from selling svengali decks and insulting the natives. I think the last straw was when they refused to buy anything I retorted, "I've got the last laugh. You have to live here!" That did upset them a trifle...

Yes. They probably will as an outside stunt. I can quite see that. However, on a theatre stage it may well be more problematic. In fact, even in Houdini's day I can't quite see how he got away with it. I have often thought there must have been something missing in the descriptions somewhere. There M...

I hate that awful word "script" but I shall let that pass for the moment. I see utterly no reason why you cannot use entertaining patter when performing impromptu for family and friends. You don't have to a be a professional to do that. You have to be a MAGICIAN. And if you are a magician ...

I did watch right to the end and that is a very rare thing for me as I detest watching magic. Most of it bores the crap out of me. However, this wasn't too bad at all in the end. A very good finish although a bit long winded as American close up magicians tend to be. And a bit artificial sounding to...
