Card trimmer for sale on ebay
I am selling an antique card trimmer from Gene DeVoe's magic shop. It was used to make many of the Brother John Hamman trick cards. They are not cheap! <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2121720408">http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 2...

Joe,
The Artanis record was only the bottom deal, no second deal. Great deal by the way.

Joe,
Funny you would mention this book. I just bought the Moss book for $12.00 on ebay last week. I have seen this at one time going for over $100.00.......can you remember any specific details about his demo?

Re: Broken arm
Well I think the break was worse than first expected. After having a cat scan today of my arm I am scheduled for surgery on Monday to repair one screwed up arm. I may ask the Doctor to implant a rare earth magnet in my arm to use for holding out shim cards..........Thanks again for all the replys.

Broken arm
Last week I fell and broke my left arm.....and I am left handed. Soooooooooo.....if you place any card orders with me (The Card Plant) in the next few weeks they may be a little delayed. I can't even apply enough pressure on a card to split it. Hopefully it will heal soon.

Bill,
Thanks for the explanation......that was my period at the end of the sentence so it really wasn't a typo but it really screwed up some folks. I would have never figured out that problem.

Chris, I can make you the magnetized gaff in Talley-Ho that has the four small circles at the corners. They work beautifully. The Talley-Ho with the large circle...I can make it work but the gaff may not be as "well hidden" as on the other backs. Thanks for the interest, Gary If you need m...

Chris,
Richard Hatch also translated "Hofzinsers Card Conjuring" for Richard Kaufman. It has just never been published. See Richards commments on why this is the case.
Richard...thanks for the info. I am looking forward to the book whenever you decide to put it out.

Hofzinser Card Book Translation by Richard Hatch
Richard,
Many years ago, I'm guessing 8-10 years, Richard Hatch translated the Hofzinser card book for you. Do you ever have plans to publish it? Also, isn't there some law that if a book translation is NOT published after a certain length of time that the copywrite returns to the translator.

A good friend of Michael's was PERMITTED, by Michael, to make copies of the notebooks, so I would say Geno has the originals and a "friend" of Michaels has a copy of the notebooks.

Re: Slydini on film or video
I have the laser disc Cavett show with Slydini on it. I recently transferred it to a VCD since LD in on its way out. The VCD is perfect quality since it was dubbed from a laser disc. I also have a VCD of the first Slydini Special (this from a VCR tape that I made when the show was on TV). However, s...

Re: Now Let's Try: Best GAFFED Packet Tricks
Richard,
The extra piece glued on the back of the card is fine and works perfectly. I feel that there is less of a chance of any kind of accidental flash of the extra thickness with the single thickness card. It simply eliminates a "possible" problem.
