Light and Heavy Box

Could anyone tell me the fellow who sold sold a light/heavy chest that was used on a large disk with a hypnotic spiral painted on it. This would have been about fifteen years ago.

Thanks for your help.

Re: Great article for Dog and Magic Lovers in MUM

There will be further information on the combined-issue situation in the editor's column of the June M-U-M.

Thanks so much for the kind words about the magazine. I am fortunate to have columnists who are willing to contribute such useful information.

Re: Inventing The Ten Card Poker Deal

Re: Card Trick: "Passing Through" - creator and source?

I knew that I had recently read that trick name, but I couldn't remember where. A quick trip to Denis Behr's website found it.

Passing Through is in Darwin Ortiz's Lessons in Card Mastery (pages 47-53). It is an elaboration of Ed Marlo's Push-through Failure from The Cardician.

Re: Penn and Teller in USAToday 2-4-2015

There is an error in crediting near the end of the article. The statement ""It's the sharing of one's heart that matters" was probably said by Teller. The next part is, I'm sure, Penn speaking: "I had to make this journey. I started out distrusting and being philosophically oppos...

Re: Mac King photo idea was really kind of mine.

Isn't there a promotional photo that shows Mac inside a fish bowl at Harrah's? I think there is, and that photo has been used by the casino (and Mac) for a long time. It seems to me that if the title of the piece is "How Mac King Stayed Fresh," the idea of putting him in a canning jar in a...

Re: New book: The Vernon Companion

I have the sense that this thread has barbed wire around it and a sign that reads “Abandon Hope All Ye Who Enter,” but I’m going to poke my toe in.
