Re: The Secret Out

Thank you. I usualy defer to the content over the relic...but it would look beautiful on the bookcase!

Re: The Secret Out

Thank you. I take it this book is not a lost classic in line with EATCT or The Discoverie Of Witchcraft. Is the Cremer book a completely different book?

The Secret Out

This is a book printed in 1859 that a used bookstore friend of mine has for sale. I'm interested if the contents is worth studying. Has anyone ever heard of it or read it? Can anyone offer a review?

Re: Oil and water question

Thanks Richard. Im in New Orleans and have yet to happen in on Jon's magic circle. I suspect I may have luck coaxing him into a performance of the routine you mention- when I finally do show up...

Re: Question about The Dai Vernon Cups and Balls please

Weren't there two sets of those engraved cups? Dai's worn and tattered ones were later swapped with the newer set? I think i read that in Genii.

Re: Oil and water question

Ok thanks. I first saw this handling as a kid in a magic set. It was on a pamphlet called 'the ten best card tricks' or something. That would be 36 years ago.

Oil and water question

Is anyone familiar with the version of oil and water that uses red and blue backed cards? I think it uses 3 red and 3 black pipped cards, the backs of three are red and the backs of three are blue. Richard, Jon, or someone must know this version. Thanks.
