Public Domain Library and Facebook for Magicians

Wanted to share with the magic community that http://www.magibook.org registration is now open. I think we have figured out to allow people to register, but still be able to filter out those that aren't magi (primarily spam users). I hope you all come by and enjoy the community

Roger Klause Favorite Card?

Did not know if anyone knows which card in the deck was Roger Klause's favorite. I'm working on a Essential Legends deck, which I'm illustrating each card by a legend in magic. But I would like to associate them somewhat accurately. Any thoughts and suggestions would be great. Sincerely, John <!-- m...

Re: Magibook.org

That is an excellent point. I have looked into it, but given that currently I'm not gaining any financial support from this (in fact getting drained of fiances), it isn't wise (yet) for me to begin advertising. But hopefully, as it builds and I'm not doing everything by myself, then it would be a wi...

Magibook.org

I did want to share with you all of a social networking site for magicians. We have a public domain library that is being created. We also have a credit system in place, so that the more users engage with each other and the site, the more credits one accumulates. This month we are handing away one o...

Re: Free-Public Domain

I'm sorry about that. I did that initially to help weed out spammers, and it helped me distinguish who was real and who was not. I had attempted to change permissions so that one does not need an image, but for some reason it was still requiring one. I will attempt to fix this. However, if for some ...

Re: Free-Public Domain

Also, we have just implemented a credit system to <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.magibook.org">www.magibook.org</a><!-- w --> Essentially users earn credits by engaging in the site and with each other. This month, the individual with the most credits will win a limited edition deck (...

Re: Free-Public Domain/MAGIBOOK

The way it seems to work the easiest, is if you are logged into facebook. On a seperate tab/page go to <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.magibook.org">www.magibook.org</a><!-- w --> and click the blue "Fconnect" button. If you can't see the Fconnect button, then it is getting ...

Re: Free-Public Domain/MAGIBOOK

I had some issues with coding earlier, so thinks weren't fluid at the moment. I don't recall themagicnetwork.com beging set up as a social network. It certainly had users, much like forums, but when it comes to all things social network style, it did not appear to have it (I too could be wrong). The...

Re: Free-Public Domain/MAGIBOOK

You are absolutely correct. I will go through the coding more, and see what was done incorrectly. I know that the Fbook connect works, and the Google login works as well. The facebook is kind of finicky though. I find it tends to only work if you are logged into your facebook account, and it is open...

Re: Free-Public Domain

I've changed some of the permissions, so hopefully it is easier to join. Let me know if you are still having issue with it. I also plan on adding at least one public domain magic book per week. I am also attempting to collect public domain videos for download as well. The idea is that this will be p...

Re: Free-Public Domain

It should be on the main page. Underneath where the log in information is, you should see a nice big blue "Fconnect".

If it isn't showing, I'll see if I can find a direct way to send it to you instead

Re: Free-Public Domain

I apologize, I'm new to this type of programming.
It should be under join, I'm not sure why it's giving you an invalid (I'll go through the coding and see if I can figure it out). The easiest way to join, is to be logged into facebook, and click the F connect.
I apologize for the hiccup.

Free-Public Domain

I have created a magic social networking site, which I have been putting up public domain magic materials for download. Please check it out: <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.magibook.org">www.magibook.org</a><!-- w --> Every since the learnedpig project sold, I have been wanting to hav...
