Re: Kaufman publishing magic books again?

Years ago Karl Fulves did release a video on which he did perform and explain a number of tricks. It's hard to find, but probably the best record of him performing. I know others have had different experiences with Karl, but all of ours were very positive. H & R Magic Books was one of the few de...

Re: Lecture by Norman Gilbreath

Norman's book is just heading off to the printers and should be back by the end of June. As Marshall has stated our goal, is to have it in time for the Combined IBM/SAM convention in St. Louis. It's 349 pages, hard bound with dust jacket and includes a CD with programs to use with some of the routin...

Re: Tom Daugherty - The Secret World

This was the only series we ever got. If you have a list of which manuscripts you have, I'll check them against mine to see if there are any you're missing.

Not sure what ever happened to Tom. For a while he was very active.

Re: Tom Daugherty - The Secret World

I finally dug out my set of these and if I'm counting correctly I have 45 different manuscripts. I'm not sure if that's a complete set or not. Tom put these out about 15 years ago and we (H & R Magic Books) were one of the few dealers Tom let sell them. They are all card related and I remember s...

I was just going to post this, but I see that Richard beat me to it. Mark really is a great trade show worker -- and deserves the good press.

Re: J.P. Jackson has Died

JP was a great guy. When I got married 20 years, my wife and I spent our honeymoon in San Diego. JP heard about it and when we got to the hotel, there was a bottle of champagne waiting on us, compliments of JP. He'll be missed.

Re: Looking for: Tommy Wonder Card Box

Joe's boxes do work exactly as they should. Several years ago I asked Joe to make one of the boxes and he tried for years to find the correct hinge. And as Gary pointed out, he finally find some good ones, but the only way to get them was to order a bunch. I think he's now putting hinges on just abo...

Re: Electomagnetically Shrunk Quarters...

I have several of the quarters from the website that Jonathan referenced and they look much better than the one at the website given by David. And even though they are "shrunken," they are fatter!
