Re: Aficionado of a Private Collection

Regarding dust jackets. I've always understood that a book was worth less if it did not have its jacket so I make sure and keep all mine intact. Others may care less.

The Ganson Book mentioned by Dennis gives the original 'Unique' publication dates as 1959, 1960 and 1961. The Supreme dates were all 1972.

Re: Richard Stupple,

Richard was a charming gentleman with whom I have had many 'chats' over the years. He loved magic and worked tirelessly for it and its devotees. He will be long remembered and greatly missed.

Re: ILLOGICAL DOUBLE LIFT NOTE

Fred, are you thinking of Quick Change from Garcia's Elegant Card Magic of Father Cyprian which is the same mechanics as Al Smith's PC Change from his Cards on Demand, both of which were published in 1980? Ah.

Re: Out of Focus Trick Cards Used in "Shades"

John Cornelius had an item on the market some time ago which involved reading a selected card from the back using a red filter. A plastic clipboard, I think. The deck was juice marked on the backs.I don't know if this is still available.
