Yes, the interview with Stan Allen is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Scott. Interesting nugget: Stan: "I had dinner with Randy Pitchford, who I find to be a great guy, and a sharp guy, and he shared just a *little* bit of his vision for Genii Magazine with me, and I knew instantly that MAGIC d...

My copper P&L cups are lacquered (to my dismay -- I was looking forward to them developing a patina), and they look silver inside.

Per your reading, is this actual silver, or just silver-colored metal? (Would a link be available?)

Crikey. Wow, loose pages. That guarantees pages will get mangled and/or lost, reducing the possibility of resale. We know the academic publishers hate the resale market. I hate three ring binders. They're awkwardly sized, the early and late pages end up tearing out, and their wedge shape does not play well ...

I've got an idea for a similar effect. First you need an electric chair, preferably a very old one that looks really nasty. You have a box with five large knife switches. A thick electrical cord runs out of this box into a 220 volt receptacle. A dummy is placed in the chair and the magician pulls o...
